The first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, welcomed the Chairman of the Albanian National Council (KKSH), Nevzad Lutfiu, in a meeting this morning.
They discussed a number of important issues related to the current situation and the situation of Albanians in the municipalities of Presheva, Bujanovac and Medvegja. Among the topics discussed at this meeting was the need for increased support for Albanians there, who continue to face numerous challenges, including systematic discrimination and oppression.
On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi expressed deep concerns regarding the continuation of discriminatory practices against Albanians in the Presheva Valley and reiterated his commitment to stand by and support the legal rights of Albanians there.
Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi said that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo will continue to offer all-round support to the Albanian community in the Presheva Valley, with the main focus on advancing their rights and for a brighter perspective for our compatriots.
