Prishtina, April 14, 2025
Today, the Government of the Republic of Kosovo held an electronic meeting, during which it amended and supplemented the Government Decision No. 06143 of 28.04.2017, amended and supplemented by Government Decision No. 16/48 of 7.12.2020, Decision No. 02/54 of 12.01.2022 and Decision No. 04/70 of 21.04. 2022.
According to this amendment:
– Item 2 of the above-mentioned Decision is replaced as follows “The mandate of the Government Commission for the Recognition and Verification of the Status of Persons Maltreated during the Kosovo Liberation War is until May 15, 2028”.
– After Item 2 of the aforementioned Decision, Item 2.a. is added with the following text “The deadline for submitting the request for recognition of the status of victims of sexual violence during the war is extended until May 15, 2027”.
– Item 1.6 of Government Decision No. 16/48 of 7.12.2020 is replaced with this text “Ms. Kimete Haxholli, Head of the Processing and Archiving Division at the ICCW”.
