The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by the First Deputy Prime Minister, Besnik Bislimi, received today in a meeting the Minister of Regional Development, Fikrim Damka, also the Chairman of the Turkish Democratic Party of Kosovo (KDTP), together with the Mayor of Mamusha, Abdülhadi Krasniç, who also holds the position of Deputy Chairman of the KDTP.
Together they discussed the steps forward for the formation of the institutions of the 9th legislature that emerged from the regular parliamentary elections of 9 February. Prime Minister Kurti thanked Mr. Damka for his work as a cabinet minister in this full mandate of the government and for the close cooperation both in the government and in the assembly. Both parties expressed their willingness and readiness for this fruitful cooperation to continue in the next legislature.
This meeting was held in the framework of consultations with political parties of non-majority communities on the formation of the new government after the certification of the results by the Central Election Commission. During the day, the Prime Minister will also hold meetings with leaders and other representatives of parties of non-majority communities that have won a mandate for representation in the assembly.
