The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received today in a farewell meeting the Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of Japan in Kosovo, Keisuke Yamanaka.

Prime Minister Kurti thanked him for his contribution to deepening relations between our two countries and strengthening bilateral cooperation.

He also expressed his gratitude for the continued support to Kosovo, especially through projects implemented through the Japan International Cooperation Agency, JICA.

They discussed the world business fair that will be held this year in Japan, Expo 2025 Osaka, where Kosovo will be a participant, which represents a good opportunity to promote the country’s culture, our growing economy, as well as the commitment to welcoming Japanese investors and increasing cooperation in areas of common interest.

Prime Minister Kurti wished Mr. Keisuke Yamanaka success in his upcoming engagements.

Between them, the Prime Minister and Keisuke Yamanaka exchanged gifts of gratitude as a sign of good cooperation and excellent relations. The Prime Minister presented the Ambassador with a filigree qifteli (native musical instrument), the book by author Shyqyri Nimani and a CD from the Kosovo Philharmonic. The Ambassador presented the Prime Minister with a souvenir of the fortunate cat Maneki-Neko.
