Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi welcomed the Special Representative of Slovenia for the Western Balkans Anžej Frangeš

First Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, received in a meeting this morning the Special Representative of Slovenia for the Western Balkans, Anžej Frangeš, accompanied by the Ambassador of Slovenia to Kosovo, Minca Benedejčič.

Initially, the Special Envoy of Slovenia for the Western Balkans Frangeš congratulated Kosovo on the successful conduct of the February 9 elections. For his part, Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi stated that our entity is the winner of the elections and we await the certification of the election results and the counting of all citizens’ votes.

The situation in the region and the dialogue process were also discussed; the Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi expressed the need for a balanced approach towards the parties in order to move forward towards the full normalization of relations.

Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi thanked Emissary Frangeš for the meeting and conversation, wishing him a fruitful and productive visit and stay in our country.
