Pristina, December 11, 2024
The Government of the Republic of Kosovo held an electronic meeting today in which it:
· Approved the Draft Law on the Ratification of Amendment No. 2 to the Financial Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the European Union for the IPA 2017 Program, Part One.
· Approved the Draft Law on the Ratification of Amendment No. 3 to the Financial Agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the European Union for the IPA 2018 Program.
· Approved the request of the Association Animals Kosovo for financial support in the amount of 5 thousand euros for addressing the issue of stray dogs in Kosovo.
· Appointed the Ad hoc Admission Commission for the Senior Management Position: Executive Director of the National Qualifications Authority, with the following composition:
o Naim Gashi, General Director at the Kosovo Accreditation Agency, Chair;
o Venera Çerkini, Secretary General at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, Member;
o Anita Kalanderi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Justice, Member;
o Ardiana Krapi, Acting Head of the Human Resources Division at the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Member; and
o Agon Haxhikadrija, External Expert, Member.
· Appointed the Ad hoc Admission Commission for the Senior Management Position: Director of the Agency for Vocational Education and Training, with the following composition:
o Anita Kalanderi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Justice, Chair;
o Venera Çerkini, Secretary General at the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development, Member;
o Naim Gashi, General Director at the Kosovo Accreditation Agency, Member;
o Ardiana Krapi, Acting Head of the Human Resources Division at the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Member;
o Agon Haxhikadrija, External Expert, Member.
· Approved the National Program for Agriculture and Rural Development 2023-2027.
· Approved the recommendation of the Interministerial Commission for Strategic Investments to amend and supplement the Government Decision No. 05/54 dated 30.12.2020 regarding the granting of Strategic Investor Status to the investing entity “Cicavica Wind Farm 1 L.L.C”.
· Designated the System, Transmission, and Market Operator – KOSTT J.S.C. within the framework of the Market Operator function as the entity responsible for exercising the competencies of the Renewable Energy Operator (REO).
Approved the exchange of parcels between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the Municipality of Rahovec, with the aim of implementing the 100 MW solar project in the Municipality of Rahovec, without altering the total area of the parcel sections.
