Prime Minister Kurti was welcomed by the leaders of the Party for Democratic Action (SDA) and the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina (Stranka za BiH)

In Sarajevo, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, in addition to meetings with leaders of institutions, also held meetings with leaders of political parties in Bosnia and Herzegovina, respectively with the Chair of the Party for Democratic Action (SDA), Bakir Izetbegović and the Chair of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina (Stranka za BiH), Semir Efendić.

The Prime Minister was initially welcomed by the Chair of the Party for Democratic Action, Izetbegović, with whom they discussed cooperation between the two countries, developments in both countries, and common opportunities and challenges. The Chair Izetbegović thanked him for the visit, on which occasion he presented the Prime Minister with the book of his father, former President of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Alija Izetbegović, “Alija Izetbegović: Works 3”.

He was then welcomed by the Chair of the Party for Bosnia and Herzegovina, Semir Efendić. They also discussed relations between the two countries and the increase in cooperation. Mr. Efendić thanked the Prime Minister for the visit and for the Government’s decision to enable free travel of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina with an ID card to Kosovo starting from 1 January 2025.

Following these meetings, Prime Minister Kurti will participate as a keynote speaker in a discussion on regional cooperation and relations organized by the non-governmental organization, “Association of Independent Intellectuals Krug 99”.
