The first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, was welcomed in Warsaw by the Minister for the European Union of Poland, Adam Szłapka.
Initially, Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi expressed his gratitude for Poland’s continued support for Kosovo and especially the integration process of our country and the Western Balkan region towards European integration.
Furthermore, he introduced Minister Szłapka to the progress of our country in the last four years, while he also emphasized Kosovo’s intention to advance further in the journey of the integration process, as well as the deserved assessment of the application for EU membership, through receiving the questionnaire and the status of the candidate country.
Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi stressed that he welcomes Poland’s upcoming Presidency of the Council of the EU, expressing readiness for close cooperation and further strengthening of bilateral relations.
