The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, today welcomed in a meeting the Minister of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia, Tawfig Al-Rabiah.
While welcoming them, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of bilateral cooperation and expressed gratitude for the good and growing relations between the Republic of Kosovo and Saudi Arabia. This year we mark the 15th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized the economic growth and development that Kosovo has achieved in recent years. Together they discussed new investment opportunities that would strengthen this positive trend, and at the same time contribute to the further strengthening of friendly ties between the two countries.
The Prime Minister also thanked Minister Al-Rabiah for Saudi Arabia’s continued support for Kosovo’s independence and sovereignty. Here he singled out the support of the resolutions adopted by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) that call on the member states that have not yet recognized Kosovo to recognize it.
In this meeting, alongside the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Kreshnik Ahmeti, the Mufti of Kosovo, Naim Tërnava, and representatives of the Islamic Community in Kosovo were also present.
