After Munich, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti together with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz, were welcomed yesterday by many compatriots in the city of Stuttgart.
There they held an open conversation about the developments in the country, the development of the country and the historical role of emigrants as well as the ongoing contribution. The Prime Minister singled out the important role that our emigrants in Germany have even today in the relations that Kosovo has with Germany as two states, and the Albanians with the Germans as two peoples.
“We never forget to say it because we fully understand that our diaspora is the powerful historical, economic, political and diplomatic component of the Republic of Kosovo and the Albanian nation… therefore we say with all our hearts that you are the heart of our efforts for freedom and progress”, said Prime Minister Kurti.
Because of its complex history, and love and devotion to the country
our exile has understood very well and learned once and for all that in the present one serves the motherland, and the motherland serves in the future.
“The severe exile that strongly characterized us in the past has now resulted in the exile that is the future. The future of returning to the homeland, in Kosovo, which is progressing from your former and continuous contribution, which makes you the essence of our future”, said Prime Minister Kurti.
Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister Gërvalla-Schwarz, describing Stuttgart as the capital of the Albanian diaspora, said that most of the actions in aid of Kosovo were organized from this city, from there the biggest works in solidarity with the citizens of Kosovo in dark times were started. and it was from this city that Sali Çekaj left with his sons and daughters to protect the Republic of Kosovo with his blood. She thanked her compatriots for their decisive and continuous role in strengthening the state of Kosovo and for their support, as she called on them to register as soon as possible so that they can exercise their right to vote in the upcoming elections. parliamentary session of February 2025.
