The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received in a meeting the Assistant Secretary General for NATO Operations, Thomas Goffus, who is conducting an official visit to Kosovo.
First, Prime Minister Kurti thanked Mr. Goffus for the continuous and positive contribution of the mission of KFOR and NATO, as well as the commitment to maintaining peace and security in the country and the region.
He emphasized the importance of deepening cooperation between our security and defense institutions with KFOR and NATO and continuous coordination. Prime Minister Kurti said that the socio-economic and democratic progress of the country goes hand in hand with the rule of law and order, to which the dedication remains steadfast and at the service of all citizens without distinction.
Prime Minister Kurti said that during these three years under the greatest security threats from Serbia, we have achieved the greatest progress in democracy and economy, while we have also repelled threats and successfully managed challenges to security and peace in our country. We protect not only citizens and territory, sovereignty and democracy, independence and freedom, but also our progress and prosperity.
Prime Minister Kurti thanked Mr. Goffus for the visit and the conversation. Present at the meeting were the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, the Minister for Communities and Return, Nenad Rashiq and the Minister of Local Government Administration, Elbert Krasniqi.
