Upon arriving in Kosovo, after his stay in Brussels, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, today visited the Municipality of Dragash, which was affected yesterday by water floods caused by heavy rains.
With the Minister of Local Government Administration, Elbert Krasniqi, in the meeting held with the Mayor of Dragash, Bexhet Xheladini, Prime Minister Kurti thanked the local institutions for their commitment and offered his help and that of the central institutions in overcoming and recovering from the damage caused, for which there will be an adequate assessment by the relevant commission. “The government will be close to you and close to the citizens,” he said.
Chairman Xheladini informed the Prime Minister about the situation on the ground and the damage evidenced in the infrastructure, which he said needs urgent intervention and thanked him for the visit and Minister Krasniqi for cooperation and regular communication.
From there, together, they left to visit the areas affected by yesterday’s floods caused by the rain.
