Kamenica, 13 May, 2024
The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by the Minister for Communities and Returns, Nenad Rashić, visited the Municipality of Kamenica today, where he first met with the mayor of this municipality, Kadri Rahimaj, and the deputy mayor, Aleksandra Jovanoviq.
After this meeting, together they visited the company “Tirol” owned by Dobrivoje Antiq from the non-majority Serbian community. The company “Tirol” is a family business, with a total of two employees, which produces noodles for cooking pies and desserts such as baklava. The owner Antiq and his company are beneficiaries of municipal and government grants.
“We are together with the Mayor of the Municipality, Kadri Rahimaj and the Minister for Communities and Returns, Nenad Rashiq, here at the small family enterprise of Mr. Antiq, which produces noodles for pies for baklava, which is called “Tirol”. I tried them. They were very thin and very good. They also have the integral version, without preservatives, without additives. With support from the Municipality and the Ministry of Finance, Labor and Transfers, he managed to set up production and works together with his son. This shows how people who want to earn more work and more sweat succeed, and they will always have the support of our government and their municipality”, said the Prime Minister.
He congratulated everyone for this example of honest work and sustainable coexistence, which he saw is undoubtedly a model that can be followed all over Kosovo, as he thanked Mr. Antiq, for the hospitality he gave to him, the Mayor of the Municipality and the Minister Nenad Rashiq.
From there, Prime Minister Kurti continued to lay the foundation stone of the pedestrian bridge in Hajnoc village.
