The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met during the day with the Executive Director of the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change, Ryan Wain.
The conversation focused on the contribution that the institute founded by the former Prime Minister of Great Britain Tony Blair can make to the development of democracy in Kosovo.
Prime Minister Kurti informed Mr. Wain with the current situation in the country and the governing policies in the direction of the progress and advancement of our Republic. The provision of free higher education and support for expectant mothers were singled out, as well as the discussion was further expanded on issues such as the efficient use of technology, with the aim of strengthening democracy and freedoms in the country, but also Kosovo’s cooperation with European countries to create policies based on common values and principles.
Appreciating the partnership, relations and role that Great Britain has not only as a model of democracy, but also for peace and security in the region, the Prime Minister expressed his readiness for continuous and fruitful cooperation with the institute.
