Last night, at the invitation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, the Security Council of Kosovo met. The central topic was Iran’s attack on the state of Israel, and the potential implications for global and regional peace and security.
The Government of the Republic of Kosovo had immediately condemned Iran’s attack on Israel, describing it as an unprecedented act that poses a risk for the destabilization of the Middle East and the further escalation of the security situation.
The attack was carried out with the Iranian-made Shaheed drones. Thousands of such drones are also in possession of Serbia, which continuously exhibits aggressive behavior towards our Republic, especially along the border we share.
The Security Institutions of the Republic of Kosovo are following recent developments with increased attention, and are monitoring the security situation on a continuous basis and in close coordination and cooperation with KFOR and strategic partners.
