Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi hosted the Minister for European Affairs of the Czech Republic, Martin Dvorak

The first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, hosted the Minister for European Affairs of the Czech Republic, Martin Dvorak.

Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi thanked Minister Dvorak and the Czech Republic for their continuous support to Kosovo’s European integration process, especially during their Presidency of the Council of the EU in the second half of 2022, where our country achieved significant progress with the political decision on the liberalization of visas, and the application in Prague for EU membership.

In continuation, they talked about European integration and the European future of the country. Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi spoke about the Growth Plan and Kosovo’s commitment to this instrument, as an additional component of supporting the countries of the Western Balkans, towards membership in the European Union and strengthening regional cooperation.

During the discussion, there was also talk about the dialogue process, where Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi informed Minister Dvorak about the latest developments, where he emphasized that Kosovo remains a constructive, active and creative party in the process, with ideas and proposals.

In this meeting, the ambassador of Kosovo to the Czech Republic, Albesjana Iberhysaj, and the ambassador of the Czech Republic to Kosovo, Bohumil Mazanek, were also present.
