The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, today welcomed the political leaders of the Presheva Valley who won the parliamentary elections in Serbia, of the “Political Battle of Albanians Continues” coalition.
Present was the list bearer and Chairman of the Party for Democratic Action, Shaip Kamberi, Chairman of the Albanian Democratic Party, Ragmi Mustafa, Chairman of the Democratic Progress Movement, Shqiprim Musliu, Chairman of the Albanian Democratic Union, Naser Aziri and from the Alliance for the Valley, Ilir Sadriu.
He congratulated them for the result in these extraordinary elections in the battle for the position of the discriminated Albanians in Presheva, Medvegja and Bujanoc.
The Prime Minister congratulated the reconfirmed deputy, Shaip Kamberi, on his new mandate.
On this occasion, the importance of the unification of the Albanian political spectrum was emphasized, to guarantee political representation and the Albanian voice in the parliament there. This union, which came on the eve of the elections and with a common goal, has proven that party pluralism around national unity is a value of Albanians.
During the conversation, Prime Minister Kurti confirmed that the support of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo will continue and be strengthened in support of Albanians as a national minority in Serbia, which faces systematic discrimination by state institutions.
During today’s day, MP Kamberi was welcomed to the meeting by Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi, who congratulated him on the result achieved, stressing the need to strengthen the position of Albanians in the Presheva Valley.
