On Tuesday morning, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, participated in the signing ceremony of the agreement between Radio Television of Kosovo, the Italian Embassy in Kosovo and the Italian Institute of Culture in Tirana. Its implementation brings Italian cinematography, films and series produced by RAI, to our country through the public broadcaster, RTK.
Prime Minister Kurti considered this agreement very valuable and important for Kosovo Radio and Television and the citizens of our Republic.
“Today is a special day, that is for RTK, and I, as the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, am here to express my support, but also my gratitude for this achievement, which will reflect in the newest Italian productions to be accessible to our public”, he said.
At the same time, this achievement, according to the Prime Minister, once again reaffirms the cultural and strategic cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Italy.
The Italian Ambassador to Kosovo, Antonello De Riu, also praised this agreement, calling it a project of strategic importance, through which the public of Kosovo will become more familiar with the Italian language and culture.
According to this agreement, two series, four films and six documentaries produced by Italian Radio Television will be broadcast next year on Radio Television of Kosovo, RTK1 and RTK2, in the original language and with translation and subtitles in Albanian and Serbian.
