The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, visited the “Koshi Group – LLC” factory today in Prizren.
He talked with the owner of this company, Shkamb Koshi, who has lived in Italy for 25 years, now lives and produces in Kosovo and exports to 15 different countries around the world.
His company deals in carbon fiber parts that are light in weight and mechanically stable, especially for vehicles and speedboats.
“There are about 70 workers and this whole process can be explained by the owner and creator of this modern technology, by Shkamb Koshi, who showed me how the parts for fast vehicles like Alfa Romeo and for boats up to 10 meters in length and with a speed of 150 kilometers per hour, are produced from carbon fibers and this is a technology that is increasingly gaining market in the world, especially when it comes to things that have a lot of weight, that develop great speeds or which are expensive”, said Prime Minister Kurti.
He thanked him for his work and contribution, appreciating him for his company, work in technology engineering and familiarity with the latest scientific discoveries regarding carbon fibers.
This was Prime Minister Kurti’s next visit to businesses, factories and companies around the country. The Government of the Republic of Kosovo continues to remain committed to supporting local businesses, continuously and through various packages of financial support.
In this visit, Prime Minister Kurti was accompanied by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, Hajrulla Çeku and the deputies of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo from the ranks of the VETËVENDOSJE! Movement, Arbër Rexhaj and Artan Abrashi.

It was a pleasure to visit the “Koshi Group” factory and see the production process. There are about 70 workers and this whole process can be explained by the owner and creator of this modern technology, Shkamb Koshi, who showed me how the parts for fast vehicles such as Alfa Romeo and for boats up to 10 meters in length and more speed of 150 kilometers per hour, are produced from carbon fibers and this is a technology that is increasingly gaining market in the world, especially when it comes to things that have a lot of weight, that develop great speeds or that are expensive. In this way, it also increases durability, but at the same time reduces weight. So thank you very much Shkamb for this work you are doing and for these ideas which also have patents in the USA. So, it’s not just an owner who owns the business, but an owner who also works there engineering the technology and reading about the latest scientific discoveries regarding carbon fibers.
