The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has today sent a telegram of condolence to the Mulliqi family, on the occasion of the death of their relative, Prof. Dr. Haqif Mulliqi.
The condolence telegram says:
Dear Mulliqi family,
It is with deep pain that we received the news of the death of your dearest, Prof. Dr. Haqif Mulliqi.
He wrote many plays and other artistic texts, criticism for the theater, drama and film, all his contributions with high numbers because his commitment was unstoppable. He constantly built himself by building and maintaining new columns in journalism. He studied the classics, he got to know their character well, as well as the citizens whom he met in the many scenes of almost every Albanian city. He loved freedom, knowledge and art. These loves raise him high as a committed being, for which we honor him today and take care to remember him. Although he was separated early from his loved ones and readers, his artistic life was long, so we will read and remember him for a long time.
Prof. Dr. In addition to his contribution in the field of culture, Mulliqi also became known as a war reporter, where he made a valuable contribution to the presentation and coverage of events during the war period. For this, he will be remembered as a man who, in addition to being a professor, witnessed patriotism in all its forms.
The legacy in art, journalism and university that Prof. Dr. Mulliqi left behind will be a good example for the new generations.
