The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received in a farewell meeting the non-resident ambassador of Ireland for Kosovo, Ronan Gargan.
In this friendly meeting, excellent bilateral relations and mutual commitment to further deepening and expanding cooperation were re-emphasized.
The Prime Minister thanked Ambassador Gargan for his cooperation and commitment throughout the mission, especially the continuous support of the Republic of Ireland for the Republic of Kosovo at the international level and European and democratic organizations where our country aspires to join.
It was said that the relations between our two countries have advanced over the last few years and have been characterized by high-level visits, such as last year’s visit to Kosovo by the Irish Minister for European Affairs, Mr. Thomas Byrne. It was emphasized that Kosovo and Ireland share common values and principles, which facilitate cooperation in different spheres.
Prime Minister Kurti and Ambassador Gargan also talked about the situation in the north of the Republic of Kosovo and the latest developments.
Prime Minister Kurti wished good luck and further success to Ambassador Gargan in his next engagements.
