The first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, received in a meeting today the Assistant Director General and head of the Division for the Middle East, North Africa and Europe at the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, Ambassador Andrea Studer.
At the beginning of the conversation, the message about strong cooperation with the Swiss embassy was emphasized. The support of Swiss partners and donors, in the implementation and implementation of important projects for the country, was highly appreciated.
Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi spoke about one of the pillars of his mandate, that of economic development, where he emphasized that the positive economic performance of Kosovo is being evaluated by the reports of the World Bank, the IMF and recently by the EBRD. Our goal is for this growth to be sustainable, also aiming for equal distribution for citizens through social policies.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Studer was impressed by Kosovo’s potential, especially in the entrepreneurial skills of young people. She also told about the three-day visit she is conducting in Kosovo, which she described as productive and fruitful.
In this meeting, Mrs. Studer was accompanied by Switzerland’s ambassador to Kosovo, Thomas Kolly.
