The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, had a telephone conversation today with the Senior Advisor of the US Department of State, Derek Chollet.
They spoke about the high-level political meeting between Kosovo and Serbia, mediated by the EU, that was held last weekend in Ohrid and about the agreement reached on the annex for the implementation of the Basic Agreement according to the European proposal, also supported by United States.
Mr. Chollet congratulated Prime Minister Kurti for the agreement reached on Saturday, after long and difficult negotiations.
Prime Minister Kurti thanked Senior Advisor Chollet for the support and role of the United States of America throughout the process.
The Basic Agreement and its Implementing Annex must now change the reality and relations on the ground as stated in its spirit and letter.
