The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has received a congratulatory letter from the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, General Prayut Chan-o-cha, on the occasion of marking the anniversary of Kosovo’s independence.
In the letter addressed to Prime Minister Kurti, Prime Minister of Thailand General Prayut Chan-o-cha emphasizes that the 15th anniversary of Independence also constitutes the 10th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Kosovo.
“I am convinced that the friendly ties between Thailand and Kosovo will continue to grow in the years to come, as we work together for the mutual benefits of both countries and our peoples,” the letter states, among other things.

On behalf of the Royal Thai Government and the people of the Kingdom of Thailand, I have the honor to express to your Excellency and through you, the people of the Republic of Kosovo, the best wishes and warmest wishes on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kosovo, especially on the 15th anniversary of this very important event.
I am pleased to note that this year is also a special year for our two countries as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of our diplomatic relations. I am confident that the friendly ties between Thailand and Kosovo will continue to grow in the years to come as we work together for the mutual benefits of both countries and our peoples.
