The first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, hosted in a meeting the Swiss Ambassador to Kosovo, Thomas Kolly.
Switzerland is a friendly country and one of the most supportive of the Republic of Kosovo, especially at the international level.
Strong support to the Government in the fight against organized crime and corruption, rule of law, development of democracy and good governance was reaffirmed.
At the meeting, the topics of discussion were Kosovo’s applications for membership in the Council of Europe and the European Union.
As Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi spoke about the Government’s priorities this year, the continuous support of the Swiss state to Kosovo in the development agenda and through projects for the years 2022-2025, where it invests in sectors such as democracy, good governance and peace, economic development, climate change, the water sector and health were reiterated in the total amount of 83 million Swiss francs.
