Prime Minister Kurti hosted the KFOR commander, Major General Angelo Michele Ristuccia

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi and the Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, received the Commander of the NATO Peacekeeping Forces in Kosovo (KFOR), Major General Angelo Michele Ristuccia and officers of other senior members of KFOR and the Italian carabineers within the Multi-national Specialized Unit (MSU).

The inter-institutional cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and the NATO peacekeeping forces in Kosovo (KFOR) in the service of peace and security were at the center of this meeting. In particular, the successful removal of all 16 barricades that were violating law and order and freedom of movement for citizens in the four municipalities north of the Ibri was treated.

Prime Minister Kurti and General Ristuccia agreed to continue frequent communication and regular cooperation in the service of maintaining security, peace and public order throughout the territory of the Republic of Kosovo and freedom of movement for all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo without distinction.

At the end of this meeting, greetings for the New Year 2023 were exchanged.
