Prime Minister Kurti hosted the non-resident ambassador of Japan for Kosovo, Akira Mizutani

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received in a meeting the non-resident ambassador of Japan to Kosovo, Akira Mizutani, accompanied by the Charge d’Affaires at the Embassy of Japan in Kosovo, Keisuke Yamanaka.

During the meeting, in which cooperation up to now and new opportunities were discussed, Prime Minister Kurti expressed his gratitude for Japan’s partnership and continuous support for the state and people of Kosovo.

Through aid and assistance in areas such as the environment, health, food security, forest management and natural disaster management, Japan has directly affected the citizens of the Republic, declared Prime Minister Kurti. For Japan, the Republic of Kosovo is a reliable partner in the Western Balkans, while for Japanese companies, a very good opportunity for investment, Prime Minister Kurti said, among other things.

The Japanese ambassador, Mizutani, said that Japan highly appreciates Kosovo’s position towards the war in Ukraine, adding that Japan will continue to support Kosovo with which it shares common values and attitudes.
