The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received Major General Angelo Michele Ristuccia in the first formal meeting after taking the command of KFOR.
Along with congratulating him on his new job and welcoming him to the Republic of Kosovo, Prime Minister Kurti informed Major General Ristuccia about the developments in the country, the work of the government and its goals, with an emphasis on the field of security.
Thanking for the hospitality, Major General Ristuccia expressed his commitment and readiness for cooperation and coordination with the Government of the Republic of Kosovo and subordinate security and order institutions in the service of security, peace and guaranteeing freedom of movement.
Major General Angelo Michele Ristuccia assumed command of KFOR on October 10. He is the 13th Italian officer to take command, as KFOR’s 27th Command.
