The first Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Development and Dialogue of the Republic of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, received the Ambassador of Italy in Kosovo, Antonello De Riu, in a meeting.
In the meeting, the Kosovo-Italy development projects and the increase in economic cooperation between our two countries were discussed. Gratitude was expressed for the contribution of the Italian forces in KFOR in the service of peace and stability in the country, as the contingent with the highest number of troops in the mission. The appointment of Major General Ristuccia as KFOR commander was also welcomed.
Emphasizing the potential of our country and the development capacity of attractive and strategic sectors for investments, the will to continue the close cooperation between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Italy was reaffirmed.
Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi thanked Ambassador De Riu for the visit and commitment to increasing cooperation between our two countries, and he expressed gratitude for the continuous support that Italy has offered to Kosovo and its people.
