After laying the foundation stone for the Center for Family Medicine, in the Arbëria neighborhood, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, visited local producers in Gjilan.
It is really a pride when you see a business which, with local production, with devoted workers and master confectioners, have managed to have up to 50 workers in certain periods and sell in up to 250 points all over Kosovo, said Prime Minister Kurti, during the visit to the factory for the production of sweets “Bujana”.
In the meeting with the owners of the factory, Prime Minister Kurti thanked them for the warm hospitality. In particular, he thanked them from the bottom of his heart for having two people with Down syndrome among the workers.
Emphasizing that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo has declared 2022 the Year of Disabled Persons, the Prime Minister emphasized that none of us have unlimited abilities, but it is very important that as many disabled persons as possible we include them in our social, economic and cultural life.
