The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, met today the senior researchers at the Atlantic Council, Damir Marusic and Rachel Rizzo.

During the meeting, the general political situation in Kosovo and the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia and the commitment of the Republic of Kosovo to a legally binding agreement with mutual recognition at its core were discussed. Prime Minister Kurti and senior researchers Marusic and Rizzo also shared their views on the Russian aggression and invasion in Ukraine, the consequences for the continent of Europe and the security of the region.

As one of the first countries to join the EU, USA and Great Britain sanctions against the Russian Federation, Prime Minister Kurti said that the Republic of Kosovo has proven once again that it is an ally of democratic values and a partner of the Euro-Atlantic alliance, which it aims to and should join.

Headquartered in Washington D.C., the Atlantic Council, founded in 1961, is an American think-tank covering the field of international relations.
