The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti together with the Minister of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, Arbërie Nagavci, met today with the chairman of the BESA Foundation, Anton Krasniqi and the vice chairman of this foundation, Ilir Seferi.
This meeting comes after the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Ministry of Education, Science, Technology and Innovation and the BESA Foundation based in Germany. During it, Prime Minister Kurti was informed about the current challenges, the actions undertaken within this cooperation and about the next steps towards the initiation of dual education in the country.
The chairman of the BESA foundation, Anton Krasniqi, informed the prime minister about the potential profiles that can be included in the framework of dual education and about the cooperation that this foundation has achieved with the odes and business representations in Kosovo.
The meeting discussed the final preparations that the institutions are making to start in September of this year with the piloting of the first three profiles within the framework of dual education, that of hairdresser, cook and restaurant assistant. The importance of the commitment of institutions in promoting these profiles to students and businesses, as well as the continuation of mutual cooperation, was emphasized.
