The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosova, Mr. Albin Kurti, received in a meeting the Minister of Health, Mr. Rifat Latifi, the Deputy Minister of Health, Mrs. Dafina Gexha-Bunjaku and the Board of Hospital and University Clinical Service of Kosovo, where they discussed the difficulties and challenges in the health system.
In a long meeting, these six capital topics were discussed:
1) Sharing and public-private cooperation in the health sector.
2) Health Information System and health insurance.
3) Reform of the health system, in particular of HUCSK, for the strengthening of UCCK, regional hospitals and primary health care.
4) The report of the public health sector, as a service and professional care, with the Faculty of Medicine of the University, as a centre of research, research and scientific study.
5) The need for the regional hospital of Pristina.
6) The report of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Culture with the five odes of health professionals: doctors, nurses, dentists, pharmacists and physiotherapists.
The Prime Minister expressed his commitment to support the health sector and for increased commitment to this very important field for the health, life and well-being of citizens.
