The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, during the proceedings of the Symi Symposium that is being held in Greece, met the Special Representative of the European Union for the Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue and other regional issues of the Western Balkans, Miroslav Lajčák.
The progress of the dialogue process between Kosovo and Serbia in Brussels so far, as well as the next steps in this process, were the main topics of the meeting.
Prime Minister Kurti emphasized again that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo is always ready for principled, balanced and constructive dialogue. He reiterated that the citizens of both countries should benefit from this dialogue, through a stable and applicable agreement, which is based on mutual recognition. For this, we also have the Resolution of the European Parliament, approved a few days ago, which calls for Kosovo and Serbia to reach an agreement based on mutual recognition.
During today’s day, Prime Minister Kurti discussed in the panel on the topic “Implications of the war in Ukraine: New momentum for EU enlargement and Western Balkans membership? Possibilities and scenarios”
