Prime Minister Kurti Visited the New Facility of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Pristina

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, visited the new building of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Pristina yesterday.

The total value of the investment is nearly 18 million euros (17,980,000), comprising approximately 12 million euros (11,900,000) from the European Union, 5.08 million euros from the University of Pristina, and 1 million euros from the Ministry of Education.

The new facility of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Pristina has a total area of ​​approximately 14,000 square meters.

This joint project—part of the IPA 2020 financial agreement between the Republic of Kosovo and the European Union—benefits around 2,300 students, who now have access to modern facilities, ranging from furnishings to laboratory equipment, as well as ample space surrounding the building.
