Prishtina, 26 May, 2026
The acting Government of the Republic of Kosovo held an electronic meeting today, in which it:
- Allocated budgetary funds in the amount of €2,000,000.00 (two million euros), for the implementation of Measure 4.5 “Support for Diaspora” of the Economic Recovery Package, for the support of flight routes to destinations that serve our diaspora.
- Allocated budgetary funds for requesting entities, with the aim of promoting the Republic of Kosovo, as follows:
- For the Association of Mathematicians of Kosovo, budgetary funds in the amount of €8,000.00 (eight thousand euros) are allocated, for participation in the 67th Mathematics Olympiad 2026, which will be held on July 21, 2026 in Shanghai, China;
- For the applicant entity “Kosova Global Talent Center”, budgetary funds in the amount of €70,876.79 (seventy thousand eight hundred seventy-six euros and seventy-nine cents) are allocated for the participation of 26 students in the final of the NEO Science Olympiad, which will be held in New York, United States of America, in July 2026;
- For the Kosovo Chemists Association, budgetary funds in the amount of €3,5000 (three thousand five hundred euros) are allocated for the participation in the International Chemistry Olympiad 2026, which will be held from July 10 to 19, 2026 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
- Approved the list of potential members of the Admissions Committee for the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
