The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the Speaker of the Parliament of North Macedonia, Afrim Gashi, the Deputy Prime Minister, Bekim Sali, the Rector of the Mother Teresa University, Bekim Fetai, and the leaders of VLEN, Izet Mexhiti and Bilall Kasami, visited the construction works for the new campus.

“The largest state investment in education in the history of North Macedonia and the largest investment that Albanians have ever benefited from is taking shape through the construction of the new campus of the “Mother Teresa” University in Skopje. In the first five-year phase, 40 million euros will be invested, while in the subsequent phase another 20 million euros. This investment will provide over 5,000 students and more than 200 teachers with modern conditions for teaching and studying, practical work, innovation and scientific research”, said Prime Minister Kurti.

The campus will be built on the site of the former barracks of the Yugoslav People’s Army “Marshal Tito”. A space of the military past will be transformed into a center of education, knowledge and upbringing, science, humanism and a European future.
