The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, with colleagues and associates, visited the Jashari family for condolences on the occasion of the death of the former commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army, Sahit Jashari.
Expressing condolences to the family, friends and comrades-in-arms, Acting Prime Minister Kurti highly praised the commitment and contribution of Sahit Jashari, before and during the liberation war.
“Sahit Jashari was a collaborator of the KLA Commander-in-Chief, Adem Jashari, a fighter even before the war, who contributed with arms and organization to the liberation of the country and the freedom of the people. I will always remember the meetings and conversations with him two decades ago in Skenderaj. He always held patriotic positions and loved active and honest youth,” wrote acting Prime Minister Kurti in his memoirs.
