The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, held a meeting today with the Prime Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia, Hendrik Wüst, as part of his official visit to Germany.
Acting Prime Minister Kurti expressed deep gratitude for Germany’s historic support, from hosting Kosovar refugees during the 1998–1999 war to the decisive contribution to the reconstruction of the country after the war. This solidarity, he emphasized, is the foundation on which today’s partnership is built.
The meeting discussed the deepening of bilateral cooperation between the states, with particular emphasis on the role that diasporas can play in building bridges to increase joint economic activity and trade exchanges.
Acting Prime Minister Kurti also spoke about the importance of cultural and vocational education exchanges.
