The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received the Dutch Ambassador, Karin Boven, in a farewell meeting.
In addition to her cooperation, contribution and service in the Republic of Kosovo, the Prime Minister thanked the Ambassador especially for her commitment to gender equality and the promotion of human rights.
“The Republic of Kosovo considers the support of the Netherlands essential in relation to the status of a candidate country for membership in the European Union and the integration processes in general. While we welcome the political consultations between the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and Kosovo, this month, we aim to expand strategic coordination through this forum,” said the Prime Minister.
The meeting discussed concrete opportunities for deepening cooperation in the fields of defense, justice, energy and agriculture. But also to culture, since a virtual Van Gogh exhibition will soon be held in Kosovo.
Prime Minister Kurti wished Ambassador Bove success in her new engagements and emphasized that she will always be welcome in Kosovo.
