The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received today the Director of the Kosovo Cultural Center in Paris, Dr. Frédérique Duversin.
The Prime Minister thanked Dr. Duversin for her many years of dedication to Kosovo and for her contribution to the promotion of Kosovar culture in France. He appreciated her continuous commitment since the 1990s, as well as the support she has provided to young Kosovar artists, students and researchers by creating opportunities for academic and cultural development in France.
During the meeting, the possibilities of deepening cooperation in the field of culture and education were discussed, through academic exchanges, artistic residencies and the promotion of Kosovar artists, directors, writers and musicians in France and the Francophone space.
Also, the current cooperation with French museums, libraries, universities and art schools was appreciated as a good basis for further expanding the cooperation network through the Kosovo Cultural Center in Paris.
The meeting reiterated the importance of cultural diplomacy in strengthening ties between Kosovo and France, as well as the need for continued support for the promotion of Kosovo’s culture, art and academic cooperation in the Francophone space.
