The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received in a meeting Shasime Osmani, a Member of the Parliament of the Canton of Bern of Albanian origin, elected from the ranks of the Social Democratic Party (SP).
The Prime Minister congratulated her on her new office, commending the contribution of the Albanian diaspora in Switzerland and the increasingly prominent role of Albanians in the country’s political and social life. The meeting also focused on the importance of education, equal opportunities and women’s empowerment in politics, as well as the close cooperation between Kosovo and Switzerland.
The Prime Minister praised Ms Osmani’s commitment and her personal and professional journey as an inspiring example for young people and for the Albanian community in the diaspora.
