The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, last night attended the opening of the personal exhibition “When Light Pauses” by artist Ulpiana Kurtaj.
The series of monumental drawings made with pencil and charcoal, which represent a sensitive research on the female body as a plastic and aesthetic form, was exhibited at the Gallery of the Faculty of Arts in Pristina. Focusing on the anatomical structure, the artist has used light and shadow and contrasts, which give the drawings a strong sculptural feel.
The Prime Minister congratulated the artist Kurtaj on her work and the exhibition, which will be open for ten days, and wished her success in her future endeavors.
