The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, participated in the ceremony of accepting the Command of the Regional Support Group in the Balkans of the US Army from Colonel Kurt A. Rorvik, at Camp Bondsteel in Ferizaj.
The Regional Support Group in the Balkans serves within the framework of the US Army for Europe by providing technical supervision, expertise and assistance to the Regional Command – East at Camp Bondsteel, within the framework of KFOR.
The role of the United States of America and KFOR in general has been and remains irreplaceable in maintaining peace, security and stability in the country and the region.
