The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, as part of the activities marking July 26, the Memorial Day for Police Officers Fallen in the Line of Duty, paid homage and laid flowers at the grave of the Hero of Kosovo, Afrim Bunjaku.
After paying homage at the grave of the Hero in the village of Samadrexhë, Vushtrri, Prime Minister Kurti, together with the delegation, visited the Bunjaku family.
Kosovo Police Sergeant, Afrim Bunjaku, heroically fell in the line of duty on September 24, 2023, in a confrontation with paramilitary-terrorist groups of Serbia in the village of Banjskë, Zveçan, in defense of the sovereignty, territorial integrity and constitutionality of the Republic of Kosovo.
Glory to the Hero of Kosovo, Afrim Bunjaku, and to all the police officers who fell in the line of duty!
