On the 27th anniversary of the fall of martyrs Rasim Kiçina and Ragip Halilaj, the Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, paid homage at the Navy in Skenderaj.
Acting Prime Minister Kurti commemorated and honored martyrs Rasim Kiçina and Ragip Halilaj, who fell heroically on May 30, 1999. They were killed in the village of Arllat, on their way to protect and shelter civilians surrounded by enemy Serbian forces, who were committing ethnic cleansing and genocide against Kosovo Albanians.
Two warriors from patriotic families, Rasimi and Ragipi, became martyrs of the freedom we won two weeks after their fall, and their blood is in the foundation of the state we have built, and whose development and strengthening we are obliged to.
Eternal glory and honor to the martyrs of the nation and the Kosovo Liberation Army!
