The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, held a virtual meeting with the French Minister Delegate for Europe, Benjamin Haddad, as a continuation of the meeting at the Elysee Palace last month.
Prime Minister Kurti said that Kosovo remains committed to its path of European integration, and expects to receive the European Commission’s Questionnaire towards gaining candidate country status. He emphasized that this process directly contributes to the advancement of internal reforms, especially of public administration and the judiciary.
Both sides discussed cooperation with France in the framework of the 2030 Mediterranean Games, which will be held in Kosovo, as an opportunity to deepen economic and cultural ties between the two countries, as well as to increase economic cooperation, especially in the field of investment and trade.
Prime Minister Kurti also expressed the intention to strengthen cooperation in the field of security and defense, throughout the progressive transformation of the Kosovo Security Force in accordance with Euro-Atlantic standards.
