North Mitrovica, June 9, 2025
The Acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, together with the Acting Minister of Internal Affairs, Xhelal Sveçla, and the Acting Minister of Local Government Administration, Elbert Krasniqi, was welcomed at the home of Xhevdet Haliti, a resident of the Kroi i Vitakut neighborhood in the Municipality of North Mitrovica and one of the 102 beneficiaries of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo’s program for the construction and renovation of houses in the four northern municipalities.
“We are very happy that you will now have dignified living conditions. May you enjoy your home with your family and descendants. I wish you all the best in life,” said Prime Minister Kurti to Mr. Haliti.
Mr. Haliti thanked Prime Minister Kurti and the Government for their support and expressed his satisfaction with the level of security and the freedom of movement in the northern part of the city of Mitrovica.
