The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by members of the government cabinet, attended the inauguration of the facility of the Kosovo Tax Administration in northern Mitrovica.
Prime Minister Kurti stated that this inauguration represents an important step in strengthening the institutional presence in this part of the country, as well as in providing services to all citizens without distinction. He emphasized that the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo serve all citizens equally and function in their interest.
“It is a joyful day for the state of Kosovo and for all citizens in the north and in the south—Albanians, Serbs, Bosniaks—because the Republic does not discriminate on the basis of ethnicity. On the contrary, it ensures that all citizens are served in accordance with their rights and their needs. Our presence here is evidence of our commitment to tax collection and, at the same time, to providing proper and public services to citizens,” said Prime Minister Kurti.
Meanwhile, the Director of the Kosovo Tax Administration, Mentor Hyseni, stated that this is a very important event, especially for citizens engaged in business activities.
