The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, on the day of the 18th anniversary of Independence, welcomed the President of the Republic of Albania, Bajram Begaj.
During the meeting, President Begaj expressed his warmest congratulations to the people and state of Kosovo on the 18th anniversary of the declaration of Independence, while congratulating Prime Minister Kurti on his new mandate and wishing him success in fulfilling the aspirations of the people of Kosovo for well-being and prosperity, as well as the objectives of the government.
They discussed bilateral relations, developments in the country and the region, as well as the results of previous intergovernmental agreements, while reiterating the mutual will to further expand the sectors of cooperation and to further deepen the interstate relationship.
The Prime Minister thanked President Begaj for the congratulations, for the visit to Kosovo and for the meeting at the Prime Minister’s Office, thus becoming the first president to welcome him to his office in this new mandate.
